FIRN Lodge is a strictly halaal (often spelt halal) bed & breakfast in Belvedere, Harare. Halaal isn't an option you have to ask for here: it is simply how the lodge works, for every guest.

What strictly halaal means here
All food prepared in our kitchen is halaal, breakfast included, and our halaal meat comes from AJ Butchery.
There is no alcohol and no pork anywhere on the premises. We don't serve them, and guests may not bring them in, so the whole lodge stays halaal, not just the kitchen.

The qibla direction is marked, and prayer mats are available: just ask.
Would you rather pray at a mosque? Our staff are happy to give you directions to the nearest mosques.

FIRN Lodge has seven en-suite rooms set around a garden pool. We are at 5 Charles Bullock Avenue, Belvedere, a quiet central suburb of Harare, minutes from the city centre.
- Can I order halaal lunch or dinner?
Yes. Lunch and dinner are available on request, and like all food from our kitchen they are halaal. Just ask us.
- What time is breakfast?
Breakfast is served 06:30 – 10:00, every morning of your stay.
- Can we book several rooms, or the whole lodge?
Yes. Tell us your dates and we'll arrange several rooms, or the whole lodge, for your family or group.
- Can I ask you something before I book?
Of course. Call us on +263 78 636 8322 or message us on WhatsApp. Our reservations desk is open 08:00 – 17:00, and messages sent after hours are answered the next morning.
